It always feels like the longest part of the year between MotoGP seasons, especially when we get to experience something as spectacular as the comeback from Bagnia in 2022. Our 2023 season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet (for spectators, at least), with the introduction of sprint races happening each race weekend.
Right now, I can’t do much except countdown to the race, constant questions flowing through my head of who is going to shine on new machinery, who is going to suffer and unable to satisfy the curiosity of constructor performance in 2023. Will Ducati dominate again? What will Aprilia bring to the table this year? Are KTM set to benefit from Miller’s experience with the Factory Ducati team? Answers will start to unfold soon.
The countdown is on. At the time of writing, we have 4 days, 9.5 hours until MotoGP ’23 begins. If you need me, I’ll be setting up a snack station and my loungeroom and (impatiently) waiting.
Champions believe in themselves, even when no-one else does.
